Philip brings over four decades of structured finance and capital markets experience, with a career spanning global banking, commodities, and securitization. He held senior roles at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch, where he specialized in commodity trade finance, international gold arbitrage, corporate hedging, and asset-backed securitizations, and founded Merrill Lynch’s Commodity Trade Finance division, funding transactions in excess of $10 billion. He later built and exited his own structured finance boutique and was instrumental in taking a manufacturing and logistics company public on the London Stock Exchange. At Rensselaer Partners, he focuses on structuring complex debt and equity transactions and advising on large-scale domestic and cross-border initiatives.

Alec is a project finance and capital markets professional with over two decades of experience advising on complex transactions across commercial real estate and special situations. He maintains longstanding relationships with domestic and international banks, private funds, and family offices, enabling efficient access to capital across the full stack. His background includes supporting federal contractors and multinational organizations on high-priority initiatives, as well as advising on large-scale corporate programs within the healthcare sector, often operating in a discreet and confidential capacity. At Rensselaer Partners, he focuses on aligning capital, strategy, and execution to deliver tailored solutions across a range of industries and transaction types.
